Worship Together Tallahassee Official Rules

1. How it Works

   1. Worship groups are invited to submit videos each month to be considered for free studio time at Alchemy Sound Studios as part of Worship Together Tallahassee

   2. Each month, the group receiving the most engagement (likes) on Instagram and the group receiving the most engagement (likes) on Facebook will be selected as monthly semifinalists

   3. The initiative will run for four months (February through May), resulting in a total of eight semifinalists.

   4. In June, a panel of diverse judges will review the semifinalists and select two winners. First place will receive 10 hours of free studio time, and second place will receive 5.

2. Eligibility

   1. Groups must be faith-based in nature. All faiths and denominations are encouraged to participate.

   2. Religious institution affiliation is not required

   3. Each group must contain 4 or more active members

   4. Both covers and original music are acceptable

   5. Groups can consist of instrumentalists and vocalists, or only vocalists

3. Geographical Constraints

   1. Groups must be based in the greater Tallahassee area, including but not limited to Leon County, surrounding North Florida counties, and nearby South Georgia Communities

4. Submission Guidelines

   1. Each submission should be a 3-6-minute-long video of one song

   2. Can be filmed on any device; no professional equipment required

   3. Performances should represent a live worship setting and not a studio production

   4. Groups are encouraged to (but are not required to) include a simple stereo front-of-house (FOH) board mix to help listeners to hear individual instruments/voices.However, phone audio submissions are fully acceptable

5. How to Submit

   1. Videos should be posted to Instagram or Facebook, tagging @AlchemySoundStudios

   2. Videos can be posted to any Instagram or Facebook account, BUT the account must be public

   3. Captions should include the official contest hashtag: #AlchmeySoundWorshipTLH

   4. Captions should also include the group’s name, city, song performed, and any other relevant information

6. Rules

   1. Only engagement on the ORIGINAL POST will be counted toward voting

      1. Groups are encouraged to share their original post widely and direct supporters to the original post to “cast their vote”

   2. There is no limit to how many entries a group can submit, but once a group becomes a finalist, they may not win again

      1. Ex. Winner for March cannot win again for April or May

      2. Ex. If a group submits an entry in February and does not win, they may submit again in March

      3. Ex. If a group submits in February and does not win, they MUST make a new post to submit for March, April, and/or May. This does not have to be a new or different video but it will need to be a new post within the timeframe of the the new month.

   3. Entries are only valid if posted AFTER competition start date: 2/1/2026

   4. Each month’s entries will begin on the 1st of the month, and likes will be counted at 12:00PM on the last day of the month

7. Platform Limitation

   1. If a group receives the most votes on Facebook AND Instagram for the month, they will only be awarded one semifinalist position. The second position will be awarded to the next most liked video, either on Instagram or Facebook.

8. Content Usage and Permissions

   1. By submitting, groups grant Alchemy Sound Studios permission to repost and promote their content while retaining full ownership of their original material

9. Fairness, Integrity, and Respect

   1. Artificial engagement (buying likes, follows, or ‘bots’) will result in disqualification

   2. Any evidence of foul play, such as disrespect toward another group, will result in disqualification

   3. Lip singing and/or produced audio over false visual will result in disqualification
